About the Program

Programmed Training Services, in partnership with WA leading energy operators, are recruiting apprentices for the following trades:

• Mechanical Technician

• Instrumentation Electrician

• Process Plant Technician

This four-year apprenticeship combines nationally recognised training with on-the-job experience across world-class energy facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build practical trade skills through hands-on and classroom-based learning

• Gain experience in hydrocarbon processing and process plant operations

• Learn to operate facilities safely and efficiently, supported by experienced mentors

• Develop technical skills in demand across the energy and resources sectors

Eligibility Requirements

• Completed Year 12 by January 2027 with sound English, Mathematics and Science results

• Genuine interest in the energy industry and strong commitment to learning

• Ability to work effectively in team-based environments

• Willingness to work FIFO rosters with 12-hour shifts

• Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol screenings

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Willing to live in or relocate to Perth, WA
